The Lake District

The Lake District National Park is situated in the north-west of England. The highest mountain in England, "Scafell Pike", is located here. As the name implies, the region is full of beautiful lakes. The water in the higher altitudes is so clean that you can actually drink it. This mountain range is close to the Irish sea and you can see it on a clear day. The local views are really worth seeing. If you get a bit tired walking in the mountains, this park abounds in paths located on the coast, near to the beautiful beaches where you can take a rest.
